Let’s discuss power.

power/ˈpaʊə/
Power is the ability, capacity, or authority to act, control, or influence people, events or systems.

But power can be perceptive.

someone’s ability to act, control or influence people is in the eye of the beholder - meaning we are only as powerful as people ‘perceive’ us to be. But the concept of power doesn’t just ‘exist’. It’s manifested through strength.

It’s useful to understand that everyone has an innate strength. Knowing what it is and where to look for your strength is what can make all the difference between mediocrity and excellence. Once you discover how to use this strength to your advantage you can make use of your audience.

Your audience creates a perception of this strength and in turn it generates a ‘power barometer’. Influence can now begin to take shape and depending on how you nurture it, it can be a humbling and transformative journey.
